Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – HVAC and Ductwork

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor with experience in HVAC and Ductwork to join our team in Dartford. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all costs relating to HVAC and Ductwork projects, from initial calculations to final accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

– Preparing and submitting tenders and contract bids

– Conducting cost and risk analysis

– Evaluating and advising on procurement options

– Managing project budgets and costs

– Negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers and subcontractors

– Providing advice on contractual claims

– Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

– Maintaining records and documentation

– Liaising with clients, contractors, and suppliers

Key Skills and Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field

– Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying

– Strong knowledge of HVAC and Ductwork

– Excellent numerical and analytical skills

– Strong negotiation and communication skills

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team

– Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
