Senior Tax Accountant Bristol

 

We have an exciting opportunity within our small but growing Accountancy Practice based in the area of Bristol. This position would suit an ambitious and experienced accountant seeking progression in their career to manage an existing client portfolio whilst developing their own network and building a team around them.

We are an independent firm of chartered accountants and business advisors based in Bristol. We offer a comprehensive range of accountancy and business advisory services to private individuals and companies in many sectors.

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated person to join our amazing team and provide a professional, personal, effective solution to our client’s day-to-day accounting and taxation needs whilst building positive client relationships in a way that reflects the firm’s core values.

The ideal candidate will have several years experience being either AAT, ACCA or ACA qualified or equivalent. As an experienced accountant, you will also need to be confident reviewing the work of our junior members of the team. You should be comfortable with the following accountancy practices although training can be available if an exceptional candidate lacks experience in a particular area:

* Preparing management accounts * Business & Corporation Tax

* Bookkeeping * Payroll

* Company secretarial work * VAT returns

* Year-end financial statements * Personal Tax

* Business start-up support

In addition you will need to be an excellent communicator and possess strong administration, IT and Microsoft Office skills as well as being organised, proactive with the ability to manage a varied workload.
